Richard Keller addresses a wide variety of issues such as: depression, anxiety, problems with interpersonal relationships and PTSD. In addition he works with individuals, couples and families who want to improve in the following areas:
Knowing your areas of strength allows you to be more effective in all areas of life, from family settings to the work place. The process of identifying strengths and weaknesses in yourself and others makes you a better team player as well as improves your individual performance.
Do you remember what it was like when you were growing up? A lot has changed since we were children. Young people today face incredible pressures. As a responsible parent, would you like to help your children reach for their potential and feel good about themselves in the process?
Young children, teenagers, kids in college, and ageing parents – does this sound like your situation? How do you balance everyone’s needs and still have time for yourself? Would you like to live in a home where everybody wins most of the time? Imagine everyone seated around a table enjoying a meal together. Sound like a fairy tale? It is possible to live in the twenty-first century and still function as a family.
When the unexpected hits, how do you cope? Sometimes we’re just too involved in our situations to see them objectively. God never intended for us to travel our journeys alone. He wants more for us than to merely survive; He wants us to thrive.
Do you long to know God’s will? Do you want to have a peace you can count on no matter what? Someone once said, “Sometimes God calms the storm. Sometimes He lets the storm rage and calms His child.” Prayer is rarely passive; we can be active participants with God in our lives.
Do you struggle with a bad temper? Do you frequently say things you need to apologize for later? Do others feel you are moody or unapproachable? Would you like to gain control over your attitude and your life?
Do you find it difficult to finish projects you’ve started? Are you overwhelmed by all the things on your “to do” list? Would you like to feel like you can manage all the tasks that are demanding your time? There are tools that can help you get all the necessary things done and still have time for yourself.
Discerning God’s will for your life is critical to living for Him. Once you know God’s will, how do you implement it? Would you like to learn strategies to keep your priorities in line with God’s?
Stress is an unavoidable part of life as we know it. How we deal with stress determines the difference between feeling overwhelmed and being victorious. E. Stanley Jones quoted a young Army officer during WW II as saying, “All weather is helpful in battle - if you know how to use it.” Are you facing some battles that seem to habitually get the upper hand? Do you want to be able face those struggles with confidence and ultimate victory?
If just seeing the word depression in print makes a knot form in your stomach, if your bad days routinely outnumber your good days, if the color has gone out of your world, depression may be crowding out the joy God intended for you. We all experience ups and downs in life, but do not resign yourself to a life of sadness!
